P3M FOR SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT PROJECT IN LEMERY
LOOK: Lemery Mayor Oscar Villegas Jr. is all smiles as he received a check worth P3 million from Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr. for the for the construction of the Multi-Purpose Hall at the Eco-Solid Waste Management Park at Sitio Pasto, Brgy. Velasco.
The mayor was joined by Maylyn A. Sube, municipal treasurer; Hannan B. Oncio, MENRO designate; and Mitzi Peñaflorida, senior environmental management specialist of the Provincial Government Environment and Natural Resources Office.
Governor Defensor Jr. has allotted P50 million as financial support to the solid waste management projects of six municipalities namely Maasin (P10 million); Janiuay (P10 million); Banate (P6 million); Lemery (P3 million); Lambunao (P10 million); and Mina (P11 million).
