Subject: NARRATIVE HISTORICAL BACKGROUND AND PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Located north of Poblacion, Buenavista sprawled over a wide plain at the foot of the mountain as it link to brgy. Agpipili. Badbaran creeks cross the brgy supplying the irrigation need of farmers whose farm are beneath the creek. It was a sign of appreciation and relaxation that Spaniard viewed the area with much relief after a tirestone travel that the native heard from the foreigner BUENA VISTA good view. Thus the brgy was named up to the present time.

The area is both a combination of plains and a quite hilly topography. Rice is the main plant in the lowland but one can plant corn; and other upland crop in area that served by water. Minerals like Kaolin clay are abundant in the place where mine claimant excavate and transport it to Manila.

The place is bounded by the ff. Barangays; in the east is brgy Pontoc, North brgy Agpipili, West is brgy Tugas and South is Tabunan. The brgy has completed primary grade with 2 teachers serving the educational need of the area. One can proceed to the Buenavista from Poblacion by traversing the Provincial Road to brgy Tugas then brgy Road of about 2.5 kms.

The prospect of connecting a circumferential road is include in the priority project of the Municipality and once realize it would mean an economic boom to the brgy.

The water supply to farm by the Pontoc Communal irrigation project is an infrastructure support that increase production and income of the farmers.
