Subject: NARRATIVE HISTORICAL BACKGROUND AND PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

MILAN adopted her name after a city of Spain. Fr. Diaz in the 17th century was once of the Spanish priest destined to establish a catholic belief in the area. For foreigner it is but usual to look for a place to establish a community like pueblo. It is for the terrain of the place that brgy Milan was chosen as the original convergence of people and the local government was established in this place. Fr. Diaz is himself coming from city of Milan and to give honor to his place of birth he name the place Milan.

Historical annual mentioned that this was the first community organized by Fr. Diaz as part of assignment even earlier than the Municipality of Sara. Events transpired that the set of local government was transferred to Poblacion due to its proximity and accessibility to other established community. Thus the Brgy Milan was left to develop by its own movement.

The brgy is bounded by brgy Agpipili in the East, Marapal in the North, San Diego in the West and Tugas in the South. It can be reached by Provincial Road 3.0 kms North of Poblacion. It is developing brgy that a brgy high school was established some 6 years ago and it continuously programs as time goes on. It is also one of the PUSH Project in the Municipality.

Rice crops dominates the agricultural products. It has also the resources of irrigation water that traverses the brgy. Sugarcane can be found on its hilly portioned and crops like coconut and orchard are abound surrounding the farmer houses in the farm.
It has road network. The Milan Agpipili brgy road and the Milan San Diego Roads.
