Subject: NARRATIVE HISTORICAL BACKGROUND AND PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Formerly Bajo, meaning odorous. It was a connotation attached to a place where fresh water fish are abundant that especially during flash flood a lot of them died thus catching the attention of visitors smelling odor all over the area. This name stays for quite a time added by the distance of those marketing in the Municipality of Sara that when they arrived home its already part of the afternoon thus spoiling the fish they bought in the market.
It is located North West of Poblacion about 7.5 kms. It is bounded by Brgy Milan in the East, Brgy Alcantara in the North, Brgy San Antonio in the West and Brgy Bankal in the South. It is hilly in topography and Badbaran Creek traverse the area. It was once abundant of trees but due to cultivation and development the forest was out giving way to crop like rice, corn and other crops.
There was once an early named Diego whom people regarded him as model and leader in the community. A hard working man was able to influence mush the people to be industrious and cooperative especially in land cultivation. People wishing to get the odorous connotation change the name of Bajo to San Diego to perpetuate the name of the man they admired most. A two grade school is located at the center of the brgy. Those pursuing higher grades proceed to either Milan or Poblacion. Like those other developing community San Diego finds hardship in community to the Municipality because of the Garang-garang creek that divided the brgy to the rest during floods and heavy rains thus also making hard for pupils to proceed to school. The Brgy hopes that National Government will construct an overflow structure ease the situation.
