Subject: NARRATIVE HISTORICAL BACKGROUND AND PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Brgy SAN JOSE got its name from a person believed to be an early settlers. Jose as people called his is a cooperative leader of the community, He was instrumental I giving direction and pacifying conflict among the resident thus to give importance to this man San Jose was named after him.
It is located South-West of the Municipality about 7.5 kms in distance. It is a brgy boundary with the Municipality of Barotac Viejo in the South, Dalipe in the North, Dapdapan in the East and brgy Nasapahan in the West. It is where the Gerongan creek emanates. It is famous because of its falls. It is being traverse by gerongan creek which supplies irrigation water to the nearby rice farm.
It has a complete and the Jarantilla who own a large tract of land. Its lowland is devoted to rice crop and upland crops can be planted to corn and vegetable. A bigger supply of vegetable also comes from this area.
The community is accessible by brgy roads and one can facilitate going to Barotac Viejo passing the brgy. The community hopes to improve the road network and another proposed road is going to Ajuy from this portion.
Most of upland are waiting capital and investment for it would be profitable to invest in tree farm and pasture.
