Subject: NARRATIVE HISTORICAL BACKGROUND AND PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

TUGAS, located .0 kms North of Poblacion passing the Provincial Road. It is bounded by the ff. Barangay in the east is Buenavista, North in the Milan, South Brgy Capiñahan and South Brgy Poblacion.
Tugas got its name from a tree tugasan to be hardwood that even the element of weather cannot cause this tree to rot and decay. Tugasan trees are abundant in the tree before but at present the younger generation can imagine the folks of the old telling that the place was once a forested area.
Tugas and Badbaran creek traversed the brgy and two timber bridge was constructed as a structure. Brgy roads named Tugas Buenavista with a distance of 1.0 km. serves the commuters of the place in bringing their produce at the market. Mountainous portion are located west of the brgy. There is the Ginapusan and Dalusan Mt. Sitio Balogo also located west where cluster of houses can be located.
Rice crops are produce twice a year and secondary root crop is produced in the upper portioned. Orchard and Fruit trees are plenty during their season.
